The only MMORPG I ever played is Warcraft 3. I like to try WOW. It is probably one of the best games online. I heard that you can make real money by selling its gold, and character. Has anyone here ever done it? Where can you sold it?

I have never heard that you can make money from this, so if that's true, I hope someone posts about it. My daughter is completely hooked on this game to the point where she's not looking for a job because it would take away from her playing time. It's pretty sad.

It is true! I have the proof. Thanks to this discussion and adworld, I have gotten the site wherein you can sell anything related to WOW. From gold even the character itself. The site is GoldnCash.

I have too many friends that are addicted to WoW to like it at all. It's just a game, yet so majorly addictive that it's a bad thing. I heard that you can make money from items on there, but you can do that with about any game. People pay to get rare, Gaia Online items. There's a game called Furcadia that I play, where people sell back their game items for cash, and there's also Secondlife, where people can make their own items and sell them for real cash. A friend of mine gets on Secondlife solely for this purpose, and it pays well apparently.

My husband was just talking about this same topic the other day. He was very excited about it and telling me now he can play WoW and make some cash too I think it's funny myself. If you look on ebay you can almost always see a whole account up for sale. If you have high characters this can rake in a nice chuck of change.

My nephew likes to play second life too, but I don’t play it since I don’t get excited on such shooting game. I will be playing it if I will be enjoying it. The purpose of playing is not the money, but the fulfillment that you will get from playing. The money will just come in second place.
