I bought an DELL laptop several month ago and it came with VISTA installed. My first impulse was to try it not to erase it. The look and feel is undoubtedly better than a normal XP but when I tried to install my webcam or my external HDD surprise ... no drivers available
So after 2 weeks I erased it and installed XP with its old look and feel

That reminds me of one of those PC vs. Mac commercials. The one where he says that he switched back to XP and he is so much happier. In my house, we will not even entertain the idea of installing Vista at this point.
